Match Play Qualifier

Format:

Individual Stroke play. Lowest 31 scores will qualify for the Match Play Event. Tee Times starting at 8:00. (In the event there are 64 or more players signed up, see note on next event)

Tees:

• 59 & Under: WHITE TEES
• 60-69: SILVER TEES
• 70 & Over: GREEN TEES

Handicap:

Participants will receive 100% of their handicap

Prize Distribution:

33% of the field will be paid

Match Play

Info:

The top 32 low net qualifiers during the “Match Play Qualifier” will move on to the Match Play Bracket and must adhere to the following Match Schedule.  Players will have one month to complete their matches (with the exception of the first month due to April play being limited).  Each player will be responsible for arranging their matches with their opponent.  Once a date for the match has been agreed upon, Dan or Matthew should be notified and the match becomes official.  If a player does not show or cancels, they are disqualified.  Any match that does not get completed within the following schedule will result in a forfeit for both players.

Handicaps:

All matches will be played off the current USGA Course Handicap.

*In the event that 64 or more players sign up, the field will be modified to the lowest 64 qualifiers and the first round of matches will be played in April on the same day in a club organized tournament*

Net Better Ball of Member/Member team – flighted

Tees:

Handicap:

New Better Ball: 90% of individual handicap

Flights:

Will be determined by the total team handicap.

Prize Distribution: 

Prizes will be awarded to each flight winner and runner-up.  Additional prizes will be awarded based on participation.

Bubba Ball (One Man Scramble)

Format:

Individual Stroke Play

The participant will play two balls on every shot and choose the best one until the ball is holed.

Tees:

• 59 & Under: WHITE TEES
• 60-69: SILVER TEES
• 70 & Over: GREEN TEES

Handicap:

Each participant will receive 50% of their handicap based on the designated tee that is played from.

Prize Distribution:

33% of the field will be paid

Tie Breaker:

USGA recommended procedure of teams last nine holes, followed by last six holes, followed by last three holes.

Individual Gross/ Net. Each player will record their Gross and Net Score. Flighted

Two-Man Stableford

Format:

36 point Two-Man Stableford

• Eagle: 6 points
• Birdie: 4 points
• Par: 2 points
• Bogey: 1 point
• Dbl. Bogey: 0 points

Tees:

• 59 & under: WHITE TEES
• 60-69: SILVER TEES
• 70 & Over: GREEN TEES

Each player will be receiving 100% of their USGA Handicap

2022 Two Day Club Championship

Entry Fee: $30.00

Only participation points will be awarded to players.

Format:  

36-Hole Individual Stroke Play; Tee times Saturday and Sunday beginning at 8:00

Eligibility:

Any member 16 years of age or older

Divisions: 

• Championship Flight Gross and Net (Top Gross Player will be Champion)
• Senior Flight (60-69)  Gross and Net (Top Gross Player will be Champion)
• Super Senior (70+)  Gross and Net (Top Gross Player will be Champion)

Tees:

• Championship Flight: White Tees
• Senior Flight: Silver Tees
• Super Senior Flight: Green Tees

Handicap:

Players will receive 100% of their USGA handicap.

Prize Distribution: 

33% of the field in each flight will be paid

Tie Breaker:

In the event of a tie for gross in each division, there will be a playoff starting on #1 and then continue until there is a winner

Entry Fee: $100.00/ team- Includes golf, lunch, and prizes

Better ball of the Member/Member/Guest Team

Tees: 

• 59 & Under: WHITE TEES
• 60-69: SILVER TEES
• 70 & Over: GREEN TEES

Handicap:

Each player will receive 90% of their handicap

Prize Distribution:

Based on size of field but every attempt will be made to pay 30% of the field.

Tie Breakers:

In the event of a tie, Forest Hills will use the USGA recommended procedure of breaking of a tie. 

 Shootout

Date: 2025 TBD

Format: 

The Top 10 players in the  Jim Clark Cup standings will participate in a shootout. All 10 players will begin and the highest score on the hole is eliminated. Play will continue until one player is left after completing 9 holes. Should there be a tie for highest score on a hole, a chip off will take place.

• 60-69: SILVER TEES
• 70 & Over: GREEN TEES
